Temporary storage of the deceased in morgue
Bodies are kept in the sertified mortuary cold chamber on temperature between 2 °C (36 °F) and 4 °C (39 °F) for keeping bodies for up to several weeks, it does not prevent decomposition, which continues at a slower rate than at room temperature.
Essential care and preparation of the deceased
Day before funeral we are washing the dead body, doing any necessary shaving, make-up and hair wash. Eyes will be closed using special glue or eye caps. The lower jaw will be secured with sewing. Deceased will be dressed in clothing that was provided by the family and stored in the coffin for ceremony day.
Embalming
We do embalming only if it's necessary to keep the body longer than 20 days until the funeral.
